Analysis and Research on the New Model of E-Commerce Poverty Alleviation: E-Commerce Live Broadcast of Agricultural Products

Abstract

With the advent of the "Internet+" era, e-commerce poverty alleviation has become an important means of poverty alleviation, and agricultural products e-commerce live broadcast, as a new mode of e-commerce poverty alleviation, has achieved significant economic and social benefits in helping farmers increase their income and helping poor households get out of poverty. The live broadcast of agricultural products has a wide range of participating subjects, low entry threshold, easy to learn and other characteristics, which can effectively increase sales of agricultural products and activate the vitality of local economic development, with the incomparable advantages of other ways to alleviate poverty, and its development potential is huge. However, at present, there are many problems in the live broadcast of agricultural products, such as exaggerated propaganda, shoddy charging, poor standardization, weak brand awareness, inability to keep up with supporting services, imperfect monitoring of the platform and homogenization of live content, which restrict the effect of live broadcast of agricultural products on poverty alleviation. Therefore, in the context of rural revitalization and agricultural and rural modernization, we should improve infrastructure construction, build a live broadcast platform, strengthen supervision, improve the system and cultivate talents, and make e-commerce poverty alleviation more effective in helping poor areas to fight poverty. This paper analyzes the advantages and current shortcomings of the new mode of poverty alleviation through live broadcast of agricultural products, and then puts forward relevant countermeasures and suggestions in order to provide reference and guidance for the subsequent poverty alleviation and rural revitalization.
